Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Well today is really Black Friday. Yesterday was Thanksgiving in America. Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday of the year (Christmas is my first). I love Thanksgiving because it is a time to spend with family celebrating what we are thankful for. We also get to eat lots of locally grown and delicious food. I am not a turkey fan, personally, but I do enjoy the stuffing and vegetables and, of course, the pie!

If I had to choose one thing I am thankful for it would be books. Books have always been a source of comfort and inspiration for me. I write books as a create outlet.
If had had to choose someone whom I am thankful for I would honestly had difficulty choosing between my parents and my little brother. Mom and Dad have always been there to support me in every crazy idea I have had. They have picked my up and dusted me off when I fell. I can never truly thank them. My little brother is the first best friend I ever had. We have always and still are best friends. We may fight but there is still a strong comradeship between us that I have never been able to find with my other friends.

Now that I have finally finished writing this post it is the day after Black Friday. I heard that a handful of people died yesterday while trying to get into stores. One man on the news said he enjoys Black Friday because he feels the Christmas spirit. But is a handful dead and about 80 injured sound like the Christmas spirit to you?

New Toy For Girls to Teach Them Engineering!

This new toy is taking over the toy stores by the swarm. Goldiblox is a toy kit that combines a colorful adventure book with a building kit meant to teach girls the fundamentals of engineering. Many, many young girls love this new toy and I highly recommend it for a present this holiday season. Finally a toy for girls that is not just some other doll or princess. We are more than just princesses!

I know it has been a really long time since I have posted and I am very sorry. November is always a crazy month at school because grades close for the first time during the year and all sorts of crazy activities are going on like dances and such. I have found some cool things to post for you all so I am hoping to be posting a lot more now that things are starting to calm down again. I think you will all really enjoy! Ah, November! What a wonderful month it is. November, at least here in America, is a month of Thanksgiving; remembering what we have and what others don’t have. It is a time to help one another because there is always someone worse off than you. So for the start of this month I am sharing two inspirational videos with you.
