Memories
Memories are warm, funny, and fuzzy.
They comfort you in the hardest of times.
Although some memories can be muzzy,
But most will be crisp, clear and in their prime.
Now listen hear, my dear, never fear
The good ones will be bright and make you grin
Even though the future may be unclear,
Just think of all the new ones about to begin!
But not all the memories are cheerful.
There will be the ones you wish to forget.
Ones buried in the back, that are fearful.
But see now, my dear, be still, don’t you fret;
For memories will always go with you;
And no one can ever take them from you.
